Job Description:

PEMGroup, a distinguished leader in luxury property and estate management, seeks an exceptional Assistant General Manager to support our General Manager in overseeing our dynamic portfolio and elevating our operational excellence. This pivotal role demands a strong understanding of the luxury market, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to delivering unparalleled service.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Support: Assist the General Manager in the seamless execution of all PEMGroup services, including property management, estate management, concierge services, pet services, housekeeping and groundskeeping.
  • Project Management: Oversee special projects and initiatives as assigned by the General Manager, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with PEMGroup’s discerning clientele. Proactively address concerns, exceed expectations, and ensure a personalized, white-glove service experience.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor our team of property managers, estate managers, and support staff to ensure exceptional service delivery. Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback. Foster a productive work environment conducive to PEMGroups core values. Additionally, be responsible for all formal disciplinary actions within the company, ensuring fair and consistent enforcement of policies and procedures.ย 
  • Financial Oversight: Assist the General Manager in budget preparation, expense tracking, and financial reporting. Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure financial efficiency.
  • Technology Integration: Implement and utilize technology solutions to streamline operations, enhance communication, and improve service delivery.
  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges, working collaboratively with the General Manager and other team members to find effective solutions.

Continuous Improvement: Enhance PEMGroup’s services, processes, and client experience.The AGM should continuously evaluate the current state of the company and itโ€™s staff, conduct market research, solicit feedback, create a culture of innovation, and provide employees with the resources they need. Additionally, the AGM should implement best practices and drive innovation by developing SOPs, investing in technology, partnering with other organizations, encouraging employee suggestions, and celebrating and rewarding employees for their contributions and performance.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in luxury property management, estate management, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated understanding of property operations, client service, and vendor management within the luxury sector.
  • 1+ years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality management, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Property Manager (CPM) or Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) are desirable.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in property management software, financial systems, and other relevant technologies.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional service and exceeding client expectations.
